Jeff Lewis (President) brings extensive experience in aviation engineering, safety, and organizational leadership to the Florida Kings. A Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, Jeff has built a distinguished career guiding complex technical programs, leading high performance teams, and supporting strategic initiatives across multiple sectors. His background includes senior roles in program management, operations, and systems engineering, with a consistent focus on excellence, innovation, and disciplined execution.

Jeff’s commitment to youth development and community engagement aligns closely with the mission of the Florida Kings. His expertise, professionalism, and leadership provide valuable guidance to the organization as it continues to strengthen its programs and expand its impact.


Cate Cocks (Board Member) serves on the Board of Directors of the Florida Kings Ice Hockey Club, where she leads fundraising initiatives with a focus on expanding access to elite hockey through the club’s scholarship program for athletes and families in need.

Cate brings an international high-performance sports background and a strong belief in the role athletics play in shaping character, resilience, and leadership. A former elite swimmer, she competed at the international level and qualified for the U.S. Olympic Trials. Later in life, she went on to win an Olympic-distance triathlon and multiple long-distance trail races. While new to the hockey community, Cate is deeply committed to the mission of using sport as a tool for personal growth, accountability, and long-term life success.

Professionally, Cate has spent her career in fundraising within alternative asset management and is currently a Managing Director at Howden, where she focuses on educating and developing global investor relationships. 

Cate is passionate about supporting the Florida Kings’ commitment to excellence, inclusion, and opportunity, and is dedicated to helping ensure that financial circumstances do not limit an athlete’s ability to compete, grow, and thrive.


Sam DeLuca (board member) brings a rich athletic and entrepreneurial legacy. Growing up just outside New York City, he excelled in football and baseball at a prestigious prep school, earning numerous scholarships. He pursued baseball at St. John’s University and played several years in the New York Mets minor league system. He is the son of former NFL player Sam DeLuca, who played 10 years in the NFL for the Los Angeles Chargers and New York Jets, and then was a broadcaster for many years on television and radio. After his athletic journey, Sam transitioned into a successful business career and has thrived in the entrepreneurial world. Today, he blends his passion for community, player development, and strategic leadership, ensuring the Florida Kings thrive on and off the ice. Sam is committed to building a strong culture within the Florida Kings organization, fostering teamwork, respect, and a winning mentality.
