Jeff Lewis (President) brings extensive experience in aviation engineering, safety, and organizational leadership to the Florida Kings. A Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, Jeff has built a distinguished career guiding complex technical programs, leading high performance teams, and supporting strategic initiatives across multiple sectors. His background includes senior roles in program management, operations, and systems engineering, with a consistent focus on excellence, innovation, and disciplined execution.
Jeff’s commitment to youth development and community engagement aligns closely with the mission of the Florida Kings. His expertise, professionalism, and leadership provide valuable guidance to the organization as it continues to strengthen its programs and expand its impact.
Cate Cocks (Board Member) serves on the Board of Directors of the Florida Kings Ice Hockey Club, where she leads fundraising initiatives with a focus on expanding access to elite hockey through the club’s scholarship program for athletes and families in need.
Cate brings an international high-performance sports background and a strong belief in the role athletics play in shaping character, resilience, and leadership. A former elite swimmer, she competed at the international level and qualified for the U.S. Olympic Trials. Later in life, she went on to win an Olympic-distance triathlon and multiple long-distance trail races. While new to the hockey community, Cate is deeply committed to the mission of using sport as a tool for personal growth, accountability, and long-term life success.
Professionally, Cate has spent her career in fundraising within alternative asset management and is currently a Managing Director at Howden, where she focuses on educating and developing global investor relationships.
Cate is passionate about supporting the Florida Kings’ commitment to excellence, inclusion, and opportunity, and is dedicated to helping ensure that financial circumstances do not limit an athlete’s ability to compete, grow, and thrive.
Michelle Marella (Board Member)serves as Executive Director at Boca Ice and brings a strong passion for player development and program leadership. With a focus on skill progression fundamentals and positive culture Michelle is dedicated to creating an environment where athletes can grow both on and off the ice. She works closely with coaches players and families to ensure consistent development standards and a high quality hockey experience at every level. Michelle’s leadership and commitment play a key role in advancing the Kings mission and supporting the long term success of the program.
Vladimir Denisov (Board Member) serves as Hockey Director and is a former professional ice hockey defenseman from Belarus and Olympic athlete. Played extensively in the KHL with Dinamo Minsk and Ak Bars Kazan, as well as in the AHL, Swiss League, and Finnish Liiga. Long-time member of the Belarus national team. Represented Belarus in numerous IIHF World Championships over a 13-year span (2005–2019). Participated in the 2010 Winter Olympics and various Olympic qualification events. Earned junior-level honors, including gold medals at the U18 and U20 World Junior Championships in Division I. Served as a leader on multiple teams, including captain roles during his career.
